About

I am a versatile UX/UI designer and systems thinker with over 20 years of experience in print production design, web development, and enterprise UX/UI design. My specialty lies in helping teams bring clarity to complexity, whether through scalable design systems, intuitive user flows, or thoughtful cross-functional collaboration.

My journey into UX has not been linear, and I view this as a strength. I began my career in print production and prepress, where I developed skills in precision, meeting deadlines, and process improvement. Over time, I transitioned into digital design, project management, front-end development, and ultimately UI design and UX strategy. This diverse background provides me with a unique perspective. I understand how design decisions impact various departments, timelines, and systems.

Most recently, I worked on an enterprise product team at Lithia & Driveway (LAD), where I led the development of a Material UI-based design system used across multiple internal tools. Before that, I served as a hybrid UX/UI designer and front-end developer at Netrush, collaborating closely with developers and stakeholders to create a suite of logistics and business management tools. In each role, I have helped teams enhance UX maturity, streamline design processes, and make better outcomes for users. Whether improving task efficiency for dealership managers or simplifying data dashboards for executives, I advocate for the people behind the screens and ensure their goals shape the solutions we build.

I am currently seeking full-time roles in UX/UI or product design, where I can bring both strategic insight and practical implementation to the team. I am particularly interested in positions focused on enterprise systems, design systems, or internal tools. These are environments where I can make a significant impact by improving not only the product but also the workflows and processes that support it.

I live in Bellingham, Washington, where I also run a creative studio with my wife. In my spare time, you can find me kayaking, hiking, or painting. I’m always curious and always creating.

Let’s build something thoughtful for the people who use it, and the teams who bring it to life.
