Overview

This B2B advanced security company specializes in protecting data assets across the Internet of Things. Working within a limited budget, the goal was to deliver an internet presence that could hold its own against established industry competitors — including IBM — and signal credibility to enterprise buyers from the first visit.

My Role

This was an end-to-end engagement spanning strategy, design, and delivery:

• UX Design — User flows, wireframes, and information architecture
• Interaction Design — Defining navigation patterns and user journeys
• Visual Design — UI controls, image assets, and high-fidelity mockups
• Project Management — Stakeholder collaboration and offshore dev team direction
• Front-end Development — HTML, CSS edits and content implementation

Process

Discovery & Information Architecture

I worked closely with stakeholders to define the site’s structure and user experience. Through multiple rounds of user flows, wireframes, and UI mockups, we iterated on the information architecture until reaching an agreed-upon solution — keeping feedback loops tight before any visual design investment was made.

Visual Design

With the structure locked, I moved into high-fidelity design across several phases, refining the UI controls and image assets until the visual language felt appropriately enterprise-grade. The design needed to project trust and technical authority — qualities essential for a B2B security brand competing in a market dominated by well-resourced players.

Development & Launch

To give the client long-term content independence, I implemented the site on WordPress. During the build I directed the offshore development team and made direct HTML, CSS, and content edits to keep the implementation true to the design. Before launch I performed quality control and testing, coordinating with developers on all required revisions. I then trained the client on backend administration and provided ongoing support for content and design updates post-launch.
